Our sensory world is three-dimensional. On the fourth dimension, time, we see how problematic it is to define it. In the fifth dimension, in values, such as democracy, ethics, intelligence etc. it is even harder – their defining being vanishing in infinity. Hence it makes better sense to keep getting closer and closer to them like it were limits in math sense of the word.
